Fried Okra + Remoulade Sauce

Anyone else love okra season? I’m gonna be honest growing up in Ohio, I had never heard of okra until I moved to the south and I’m so glad I did. It has become a favorite!

When I go on vacation one of my favorite things to do is find the best food joints to eat at and sometimes I even get inspired by dishes that I eat. We ate at a BBQ joint in Victor, ID and they had some of the best fired okra & their remoulade sauce was spicy and made for the perfect pairing.

So one night when I was making fried green tomatoes, I thought why not make this exact recipe, but with okra and it’ll be similar to what we had in Idaho.

So I went for it & it turned out perfect!

Pro tip: Use your air fryer to reheat these as a snack or for lunch the next day!

So before okra season is gone completely, make these! you will not be disappointed!
