This dish is perfect for a family gathering, a snack or even a meal all it’s own. It’s also a great excuse to eat your veggies and it makes me excited for Summer, when I can use fresh veggies from my own garden & local farmer’s market.
You can customize it by adding your favorite vegetables or by omitting ones you don’t like, the options are endless as far as that goes.
Funny story time, I may have dropped this pizza on Sadie Mae (our pup) one time when I was in a hurry I fumbled it and Sadie had cheese and veggies all over her, it was funny and I think she enjoyed eating them, however I was also so mad because I worked so hard on the pizza and now it was “dog food”.
So my husband took upon himself to grab a post-it note and write this and he stuck it to my recipe card, “Most important of all.. don’t drop it on the floor or your dog”. I mean he’s not wrong! So I do my absolute best to make sure I don’t get in a rush and drop it all over the floor or Sadie Mae.
I love sourcing most of the ingredients from Aldi, but I will say when it comes to mayo Duke’s is best, prove me wrong! We a Duke’s household, this is also coming from someone who never liked mayo & then I moved to the South and I’m hooked. I’ve been converted from Miracle Whip to Mayo — Duke’s Mayo.
