Hello friends! Looking for a festive patriotic snack to liven up your Memorial Day or Fourth of July gatherings? I’ve come up with the cutest charcuterie (just a fancy word for snack) board filled with yummy foods that are red, white, and blue. So this isn’t a “recipe” really, rather an inspiration post!
We’ve got to tip our hats to the fruits in the berry family – they really make it easy to fit the theme! Blackberries, blueberries, and strawberries helped check of the blue and red categories (you could even add raspberries to the mix if you like!) To add in your whites (or light neutrals), cashews, crackers and any white cheese will finish the job. If you want to go the extra mile, use star shaped cookie cutters for some of your cheese, and now your board looks extra fancy.
And just for an added dose of sweetness, I added Fig Newtons and some spreadable jam, because why not? And there you have it! A very simple and fun way to celebrate the good ole USA with your friends and family. Enjoy!
