They take everything you crave about a classic smash burger — crispy beef, melty cheese, and all the toppings — and pile it onto a bed of golden fries. Best of all, they’re incredibly easy to make, making them perfect for busy weeknights or casual get-togethers.

Smash Burger Fries

Ingredients

  • Frozen Fries, I prefer Crinkle Fries, and my personal favorite the Lamb Weston brand.
  • 1 lb ground beef or venison
  • Iceberg Lettuce
  • Tomatoes
  • Grillo Pickle Chips-THE BEST
  • Red Onion
  • American Cheese
  • Kinder’s Cowboy Butter Seasoning
  • Salt & Pepper
  • Smash Burger Sauce

Optional toppings: bacon, Grillo’s Pickle De Gallo, Other cheeses

Instructions

  1. Cook the Fries: Prepare fries according to package instructions until crispy. Oven, and air fryer work great.
  2. Smash the Burger: Brown the burger in a skillet & add the Cowboy Butter Seasoning.
  3. Chop up your toppings & Make Smash Sauce
  4. Add the Cheese & Burger: Pull the fries from the oven give them a sprinkle of Cowboy Buter seasoning, salt & pepper. Add the burger & American cheese slices. Bake until cheese is just melted.
  5. Assemble the Fries: Add lettuce, pickles, tomatoes, and onion, and drizzle with smash sauce.
  6. Serve & Enjoy!

Tips & Variations

  • Have leftovers? If you do, which is rare, you can put these in the air fryer on a piece of parchment paper and heat up.

Smash Burger Fries

Ingredients
  

  • 1 bag Crinkle Cut Fries
  • 1 lb ground beef or venison, cooked
  • 1 cup Iceberg lettuce, shredded
  • 1/3 cup Grillo Pickle Chips
  • 1/4 cup Red onion, sliced
  • 8-10 American cheese slices
  • 1/2 cup tomatoes, chopped
  • 2 tbsp Kinder Cowboy Seasoning
  • Salt & pepper to taste
Smash Sauce
  • 1/2 cup Mayo (I use olive oil mayo)
  • 2 tbsp BBQ sauce
  • 2 tbsp ketchup
  • 1/4 tsp Dijon Mustard
  • 2-3 tsp Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1/4 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1/4 tsp Onion Powder
  • Pepper to taste

Method
 

  1. On a piece of parchment paper on a cookie sheet, space out your fries & bake to package directions, pull them out with 5 minutes remaining.
  2. Brown your burger in a skillet, drain grease and add the Cowboy Seasoning.
  3. Pull out your fries and add your burger, cheese. Bake for 5 Minutes or until cheese is melted.
  4. Make your Smash Sauce.
  5. Add the rest of the ingredients, lettuce, pickles, tomatoes, onions. Drizzle smash sauce on top & serve.
