Strawberry Cream Pie

This pie is out of this world! Combining fresh strawberries with the cream and graham cracker crust make this the perfect cool summer treat! I love to find new ways to use the fresh fruits from each season and this pie gives you a sweet treat while still enjoying the freshness of the berries.

I tried both graham cracker crust options homemade & premade, in my opinion the store bought crust had a softer texture and flavor that I liked more than the crispier, harder crust of the homemade one. Totally up you on which you prefer!

So before all the fresh berries are gone, make this pie!!

  • Combine strawberries & jam set aside & refrigerate until ready to serve.
  • When pie is set cut a slice & add strawberry mixture on top & enjoy!
  • Homemade Graham Cracker Crust
  • Add graham crackers to food processor, pulse until fine add sugar & salt and melted butter.
  • Pulse until combined then form into a crust on pie plate.
  • You can bake at 325 for 10 minutes ot freeze for an hour.

Notes

  • If you add the berry mixture tot he whole pie the crust will get soggy unless you plan to eat the whole pie in one sitting. I used a premade crust to make this a quick dessert to assemble.
